THE MOST DIFFICULT SHADE OF BLUE

I’m sure you’re thinking – how could blue possibly be a difficult colour to wear?

It’s not! Especially if the shade your opting for is navy, or midnight, a pale powder blue perhaps or a delicate pastel tone. But if you’ve caught the ‘turquoise’ fever, it’s a slightly difficult picture to paint.

Think about it: a bold bright turquoise/teal isn’t easy to pair with just any other hue. Of course a classic white or black combo will work wonders to highlight the colour while subtly reducing it’s very ‘in-your-face’ quality. And that’s what this outfit I’ve styled is all about!

Balanced yet bold and so fun for a summer look!

But hey, if you want to really up your fashion quotient, make a risqué move – here are some bolder options that gel well with turquoise!

-Autumnal tones (mustard, burgundy, beiges)

-Monochrome stories (darker/lighter shades of blue – navy or pastels)

-All 50 shades of grey :p

There you have it!

I’ve played it safe this time, but you don’t have to!
