ELEMENTS OF CUTE

When it comes to paying compliments, people can be quite stingy, offering a single misery word of praise that leaves you wondering if the accompanying smile was at least genuine!

In my fashionably humble opinion, there are two main levels of adjectives that are commonly used:

Tier 1: Sexy/Pretty/Cute

Tier 2: Ravishing/Gorgeous/Adorable (notice the pattern)

Tier 3: That’s when the compliment is real, I think :P

Now, whipping up something sexy or pretty is easy enough, but I’m honestly surprised that a cute outfit is found to be most challenging for so many people out there! So, I’ve decided to share a ‘cute outfit’ that I styled for an after dark party!

ELEMENTS OF CUTE:

Q: What are the go-to items that you can pick from your wardrobe?

A: Lace and net, ruffles and layers, frills and bows, polka dots, circles, soft-baggy-fluffy, laser cut curves, pastels- pastels and more pastels!

Q: What about hairstyles and make-up?

A: They can be real game changers – go for high pony tails, with barrettes. If you’ve got fringes or bangs, let them frame your face – a definite cute factor.

When it comes to make – up, keep it lower than the bare minimum! Avoid red, brown or any dark hued lip colours. Also heavily done eyes can completely spoil your cute avatar.

Q: Any last additions?

A: Finally the last elements of cute: (though optional :p)

-Pinch-able cheeks

-Adorable smile

-Bubbly personality

-Habit of jumping up and down in excitement

-Stomping feet when upset

Q: How to double check that what you’ve picked out ticks the ‘cute and adorable’ check box?

A: This one’s really simple, just wait for the involuntary ‘aww’ reactions and you’ll know! :P
