The only time this statement can be validated is during SALES, when all your favourite picks, old styles and sometimes new are worth the multiple credit card swipes. No matter what the fashion snobs say, just because it’s on sale, doesn’t mean it’s unfashionable. In fact, sales are meant for shopping with fierce determination. So really, grab the opportunity – shop till you drop – you won’t get the chance again for another few months!
Here are some tips from an expert SALES shopaholic :p
Make a list of clothes/accessories that you genuinely need, so you can prioritize while shopping.
Plan your date: You have the best choices at the very beginning of the sale, but the best deals at the end!
Do not, I repeat, do not feel guilty if you spend a little extra, coz if it wasn’t a sale – you would be getting a lot lesser than you did.
One thing we’re all tempted to do, is buy a size smaller or bigger just because it’s at a lower price. But we never do get around to altering it or losing those few kilos :p
Remember to check for quality – if there’s a tear or a wrong stitch, then it’s not worth half or even quarter the price
Buy all the classics and basics -you’re going to feel silly paying more for them when the sale’s off
The most important tip – take that one picture of yourself carrying a dozen shopping bags, like a diva. It’s every shopaholics dream.
Apart from this, just dress comfortable yet stylish, coz it’s going to be a long day and you’ve got to be in high spirits!
