Firstly, cheers on our 70th year of Independence!
Secondly, I am shocked by the number of people who attempted to make tri-colour fashion an actual fad for the day.
The best way to show your love for the country through your outfit is to NOT wrap yourself up in a visual look-alike of the flag. If you really want to wear the national colours, then choose wisely – one hue or a combo of 2 that gel well, should pay tribute enough.
In my opinion, white – the symbol of purity is the way to go. An easy, fitted white kurti can be styled in so many ways to portray elegance, style, simplicity and reflect a sense of patriotism too.
I call this outfit, ‘BROWN GIRL’. #wornon15thAugust
Casual ensembles make the boldest style statements and a simple kurti-tights combo can set you apart, if you’re ‘style smart’.
Currently, wooden accessories are my go-to when it comes to ethnic attire. Bangles and beads in brown textures really give off a down-to-earth Indian fashionista vibe when paired with these super-comfy printed tights. Creating a boho-vintage visual vibe, this outfit is my #1 choice of ethnic wear this month!
